Ryanair Flights Cheap Flights Knowledge Base
I want a weekend break, which ryanair flights are the cheapest?? ? I want to go away for the weekend some time before mid Novemember and want to find some cheap tickets.. It is taking ages trawelling through ryanair looking for cheap flights. I can get a cheap flight out (no taxes) but have to pay a full fair coming back.. Not fussy about location. any help much appreciated!!
how to find cheap ryanair flights as per their website....? Could someone please help me to navigate the ryanair website... they advertise bargain flights, in my case to Alicante from Newquay from £10.00 all inc... and I click on the link, but it does not actually deliver me to a page where I can see any £10.00 flights!! I have heard this can be common practice, to advertise but make it a bit difficult to actually find and book them! Hope you can give me some tips - thank you! Thanks for the reply... I know this - it is the standard way - but by using this method I cannot find any for £10.00!! I have trawled it date wise, but there must be a simpler way if they are advertising it? t_mia - thanks for info... have followed the link to a great website - will definiately use this again to help find cheap flights at a glance -then as you say book direct with the website! Excellent!
Ryanair flights? Ive been on the website and seen loads of cheap flights starting from £10 return. I am wanting to book one but i know theres a catch somewhere.. someone said its because you can only take hand luggage and pay for extra baggage? I'm only wanting a weekend break so will just be taking on large bag. Does this have to be under a certain weight? If so - if you go over how much do they charge? Have you been on these flights and were they ok? 10 points for best answer I understand that these flights are only on certain days. If i do go over and pay extra online (making it cheaper for myself) will i have to pay this twice (in english airport and foreign airport whilst returning) or does this cover it as a whole?
Why is RyanAir so insanely cheap? Weekday flights are as cheap as 0.49 euro each way!? I was in Europe a few months back and used RyanAir and the total for my flight from London to Venice was .79 Euro each way. The total purchase came out to about 35 Euro after taxes. But still 0.79 euro?? That's ridiculously cheap. A comparable flight in distance in the US would be Los Angeles, CA to Dallas, TX and that would cost anywhere from a low of $200 up to $600 roundtrip. Southwest Airlines' Ding feature has some cheap fares but nowhere near $40/roundtrip for anything. Even a SF to LA flight, which is one of the cheapest, shortest and most frequent flights, runs $70 at the very cheapest. Help me out here. How is RyanAir so cheap? What is wrong with the US Airline industry? Imagine flying from LA to NYC for under $50 roundtrip. This is the way flying should be.
When will Ryanair start flights to NY? ? Does anybody know when Ryanair is launching its 8 pound flights to New York and other places in the US? Ryanair announced it would start cheap flights in 2009 but gave no indication when exactly.
Cheap flights between Egypt and South Africa? I want to fly between Egypt and South Africa and was wondering if there are any cheap airlines like the ones they have in Europe (ryanair, easyjet, etc.) I know that the cheap small plane airlines do not usually appear in results when you search for flights in a flight searcher such as kayak etc. Can anyone who has been to Africa or lives there help me out?
Where can I get cheap flights Frankfurt (Germany) to Denmark???? Okay, so I'm looking at Ryanair, and they are VERY cheap in Europe, but they do not fly to Denmark... I need information about airline(s) that do CHEAP flights (like Ryanair) from Frankfurt to Denmark (any major city)... do you know who might be able to do this?????????? (website examples would be appreciated!!) Thanks :)
Do Ryanair regularly offer cheap flights? Right now they're offering £5 journeys from Prestwick Airport to London Stanstead. I wanna take advantage of this but I don't have a particular need to be in London anytime soon and wonder if anyone can tell me whether they regularly offer such deals so I wouldn't feel the pressure to book one right now.. or should I go ahead and select a date because it will only cost me £10 altogether? Will admin fees apply to that cost because they state them as being excluded on this particular deal? Thanks for listening.
Cheap flights from Europe to Chile? Hi At some point in the next 2-3 months I need to go to Santiago, Chile. So I thought I'd post the question here, as there's bound to be some people who have done the trip or knows someone who has or does regularly. I live in London and want to fly to Santiago, Chile the cheapest possible way. If this means going from elsewhere in Europe, that's fine, cause I can get anywhere using cheap flights such as Ryanair. Equally, if it means flying to elsewhere in Chile, or even South America, as long as I can easily get to Santiago from there that would be fine. Obviously the ideal would be a cheap flight direct from London to Santiago. Needn't be a return ticket - I am thinking of staying a long time. But an open return would be best. I hope this question is going out internationally - or at least in Europe! If not, does anyone know how you make it do that?

What really is the best website to find cheap flights around the world? I know there are dozens out there. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me which one really is the best for finding cheap fares for international flights. Also, any tips in terms of looking for cheap flights? Times to look? Certain airlines? (I know about ryanair) Seat sales? Any info would be great. :)

Good website for cheap flights (From UK)? We are looking for flights to Bratislava (Slovakia) from England, does anyone know any good web sites to use for finding cheap flights? Tried the Ryanair website but it is only offering very poor flight times.
Any cheap flights for Easter from London? I am looking for a decent flight from London to an Eurpean destination, from 21 to 24 March 2008. Any suggestions, apart from Ryanair and EasyJet (which are incredible expensive in that period)?
Do ryanair and aerlingus flights operate in mid December? I've tried going on to their sites, but with aerlingus, it says that they do not operate past October. And with ryanair, there is no availability. Is this just because they haven't published timetables that far ahead, or is it because they do not operate flights during December? I am looking for an easy and cheap way to leave Edinburgh for Dublin. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
why cant I get cheap flights from cyprus to uk? british airways ansd cyprus airways have a virtual monopoly on flights from cyprus to uk,other airlines don,t seem to fly on normal days or it comes up,no flights available, including ones that do advertise flights, when will easyjet and ryanair take on these two,or anybody else

Ryanair cancellation costs? 2 friends and I were due to fly out to Dublin next week on a nice cheap Ryanair flight. It turns out 1 friend can't make it now due to work commitments. As we booked our flights under 1 booking will I have to amend it? Or can the other friend and I just check in without the 3rd with no problems? There is a £100 amendment fee which I'd really like to not pay!
cheap flights URGENT!? Do you know where I can find the cheapest flights from Lisbon to London ( and don´t tell me easy jet, ryanair, etc)!! really, I´ve heard of people who pay 25 euro or dollars for a ticket from paris to Dublin, but I never seem to be that lucky?? In fact, I don´t have enough money, I just need to go to London for an interview!!!
Is it better to book flights/hostels now, nearer, or very close to the time? Ive had a crazy travelling idea for next summer, I'm not sure if it will work thats why I need your opinion ;).. We are planning to head out June-July'ish. I have looked at flights from Ryanair, Jet2 and Easyjet airlines and hostels with www.hostelbooker.com. My Original plan was to book several cheap flights to certain destinations around europe ie from > Ibiza > Barcelona > Paris > Amsterdam >. I was going to book hostels and stay 3 nights in each location. All in all this worked out to be around £450. That is a fairly cheap price but I am sure I could get a better one. Do you think it would be cheaper to book nearer the time? My other idea was to just book a flight and a hostel to one location and from there find a cheap flight and hostel in another location, travel there, and so and so forth until the funds run out forcing a flight home. I quite like this adventurous approach, however I'm not quite sure if it is practical. What do you think/suggest I should do? Cheers! Andy
Volcanic ash flight disruptions - flight in two weeks? I need to fly from France to the UK in two weeks' time - the journey is absolutely necessary. I have a cheap ryanair flight booked, but am becoming increasingly worried in case flight restrictions are not lifted by this time. What do you think I should do? I could at the moment still get a eurostar reservation but at a cost of 450 euros!! (this has to be flexible so I can change the date for another trip and use the flight if restrictions are lifted). Advice please!
Seville or Granada in the next week to ten days.. anyone know of any cheap flights there? I have been on Lastminute.com, Ryanair and Easyjet websites and they are all charging over £300 return to go there from London or Luton airports which I think is is ripoff. In fact some were charging over £1000!!! I can pay these fares to go to America or Australasia.. why pay them to go to Spain! Does anyone know where else I can look for a cheaper flight? Thanks Thanks for that. I had never been to Spain b4 until about 3 weeks ago when I went to Madrid and I was pleasantly surprised as I had always avoided Spain. It is a beautiful country of you steer clear of all the touristy regions such as the Costas, Canaries, etc...
Cheap flights within South America? Is there a cheap airline within South America? I'm looking for something similar to what EasyJet and Ryanair are like in Europe. I'm asking about a flight WITHIN South America and not from Europe. For instance, to go from Chile to Peru.
Why are flights in Europe on Ryan Air so much cheaper than domestic US flights? In 2003, my wife and I flew from Rome to Frankfurt for 4.98 Euros per person plus tax for a total of about 40 Euros per person. At ryanair.com, they are advertising one-way flights for 0.01 Euros plus tax and I've never seen fares more than 19.99 Euros plus tax. The cheapest flight I've ever taken in the US on a scheduled carrier was probably $75 plus tax. Europeans fly for less than it costs for us Americans to ride the bus.
Adding Infants to already booked flights? I am about to book flights for myself and my partner (and family) to Spain in October with RyanAir (booking now to get cheap flights) but in August I'm due to have my 1st baby!!! No where can I find information on RyanAir's web site about adding infants on already booked flights!!! I know I will need to obtain a passport for 'Junior' before I book 'him' on but I'm concerned at how much notice they need and also how to add them on to booking when you don't seem to be able to contact RyanAir by phone or e-mail???!!! Has anybody else had a similar experience? I know it is a long way off but I don't want to book if a problem is going to occur later on!
How reliable is Ryanair ?? Hi-thinking of using Ryanair in April for cheap flights around Europe. I know the fares are good-but do they have a lot of delays, etc ? I`m concerned about late flights as it would be to follow a band on tour-and I need to fly in to destinations on the day of the gigs-I`d hate to have a dealyed flight & miss the gig !
Cheap, direct flights from Toronto to Spain? Unlike UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Holland etc., there doesn't appear to be much if any direct service between Toronto and Spain. I'm going to Andalucia, but would take a direct flight to Madrid. Anyone know of great deals. I've exhaustively looked at all alternatives (connections in NYC, London, Paris, Amsterdam etc.), so at this stage it's looking like a 13-15 hour trip each way. PS -- trip will be at Christmas, so Ryanair and EasyJet are hundreds of euros, not pennies :-( Thanks
Will going up to the ryanair desk and asking for the cheapest oneway flight to any destination be dirt cheap? Going to do it in DUBLIN airport in september with no luggage, just me and anyone that want to join me?!! land wherever on continential europe and make my way back to ireland within 2weeks is. im shit with languages and am trying to stay cheap enough and wont book anything in advance. It will be fun as ive been to a couple of places in europe but never travelled! woooooooo IM NOT ASKING ABOUT BOOKING ONLINE! Is it a good timing to visit Stockholm in January? Hi guys, Im thinking of visiting Stockholm in early of January 2009 for 2 days since the Ryanair has cheap flight ticket. Wondering what can i expect if going by that time? Will it be extremely cold n hard to venture outdoor? Is there any particular activities which can be done in Stockholm specially during winter but not in summer time? My another consideration would be Oslo or Dublin. If either one could be choose, which city should i go for travel in early of January?
How to book a flight with Ryanair when their site's down last 2 days? All Ryanair cheap tickets are coming from their website. It's not accessible, with exceptions, through most ISPs. Could it anything to do with an earlier fact that some online booking firms try to re-sell Ryanair tickets for a double a price? (See [http://news.cheapflights.co.uk/flights/2007/03/ryanair_attempt.html)
Ryanair flight. Excess baggage charges? or buy an extra seat? I am flying with ryanair and have a maximum baggage allowance of 15kg for suitcase and 10kg for my hand luggage. I am moving to portugal so gona have more than 25kg......Rather than pay for loads of excess baggage....can i just buy another seat but use the baggage? as the flights are so cheap!! thanks
Does anyone have any experience with RyanAir? I am looking to travel in Europe and stumbled upon RyanAir, an airline that offers very cheap flights inside europe. Has anyone ever flown with them, bough tickets. I want to make sure they are good to deal with.
Ryanair??? Has anyone travelled with Ryanair when have cheap flights for 1p? Do you get charged loads extra at airport or is that it. Wont be taking no luggage and can cjheck in online.
Cheap Intra-Asian Flights? Hey, I am looking for the Asian equivalent to Ryanair or Easyjet. I am thinking about moving to Tokyo, and it is very important to me to be able to fly around for cheap. Thanks! PS Valuair and Air Asia were not that helpful from Tokyo.
Planning a girls weekend to Dublin...advice? My friends and I are looking into going for a weekend away to Dublin in late July this year. We've managed to find cheap RyanAir flights. Considering staying in a hostel to be cheap (we're poor students haha!) either that or a cheap hotel. Any ideas of hostels/hotels which are nice and cheap - doesn't have to be fancy but nothing too disgusting! Also any ideas on places to go in Dublin during the day - nice restaurants cafes places to see and also the nightlife - bars and clubs to visit etc. Any info would be great...thanks =]
Ryanair! Not the usual rant!Just a question? Hi, Now if I want to use the Ryanair website,in order to get the full flights schedule for a month, specifically for the Dublin to Karlsruhe flight,at the moment I get one day only!? How do I manipulate the website to do it? ***** Can you pay for flights other than via credit card? If I pay via other means,do I incur a extra charge? And where would I pay via cash to buy the flight? I assume you can't get the cheapest flight via these means? ***** Now if I want to find the cheapest flight on the Ryanair website, over a specific period I'm away(say a week),how do I find this out? ***** yours, Pat.
On Ryanair, can I get a larger baggage allowance by purchasing an extra ticket? I'm sure I'm not the first to think about this, but here's my situation: I need to bring a good bit of luggage with me on a Ryanair flight, about 70kg between my wife and me, so obviously the 15kg limit/person isn't going to work out, and the excess weight charge jacks the final price up a ridiculous amount. However, the ticket price is so cheap that it would be much, much more cost effective to just purchase an extra ticket (or two), check in one bag per ticket, and call that good. Does anyone have any idea if Ryanair would go for this? Do they actually need someone traveling on the ticket? I can't imagine they would go for this. Thanks for the quick responses. I've actually worked for the airlines, and I'm aware of the weight and balance issues, which is why, if Ryanair was looking at it from a weight and balance perspective, me buying an extra ticket and instead of putting a person in the seat, puting bags in the hold, it wouldn't make any difference. However, from a profit perspective, they could make a killing by making me pay the over weight charges, and therefore might be motivated to not let me pull this off.
British Airways Ridiculous Policy? Around 8 months ago I booked a trip with Expedia to go to Barcelona for the weekend with my fiance. We were due to fly out on the Friday and come back on the Monday, however, due to unforseen circumstances we were not able to make the Friday flight. This wasn't too much of a problem, so I thought, as we managed to book a cheap RyanAir flight to take us out on the Saturday morning, with the intention of returning using the originally booked BA flight on the Monday. This though is where the break turned a bit sour as BA, unknown to us had cancelled our return flight due to the fact we had not made the outbound flight and would not let us on the plane. Which led to me having to shell out just over £100 to get an alternative flight back home. Does anyone think I have a case for compensation here as personally I think this policy is totally ridiculous, BA had a contract for 2 totally seperate flights. I logged on to the BA website on the day I was due to fly out but could not amend my flight as it was 'in progress'. I have contacted Expedia and they are going to reimburse me with the cost of the flight taxes which is not too bad as it equates to roughly 75% of the cost of the alternative flight I had to book to get home. I still think the policy is a little unfair, it is a bit like me not using my mobile phone for a day and then finding out that Orange have cancelled my contract and will charge me again for rejoining. I've just checked all the information I received from Expedia about the trip and it does NOT mention anything about return flights being cancelled for a no show on the outbound flight. If this is common practice for all airlines then they must be making a fortune from this as I am guessing they are reselling the flights they have cancelled.
