Anyone know of any military discount flights for spouses? My husband is stationed in Hawaii. I am in AL for school(family here too), trying to finally take care of my degree. I search flights and they range from $800-1000 easy. I believe American Airlines used to have a discount, but they said they ended it. Does anyone know of a cheaper flight/discounted flights so I can see my husband between semesters?

Cheaper military flights for families on R&R? My husband is coming home from overseas for his 2 week R&R leave. We are wanting to take our son to Disney World. We try to take him every year and it's important to us that he be with us each time. That is why we are going during his R&R. However, I was wondering if there was any military or airlines out there that give discounts to soldiers taking trips with their families while they are deployed. Does anyone know of any legit sites?

Do I get Air Force flights? My husband is in the Air Force & is going to tech school 12 hours away. I am about 1 1/2 hours away from a base. I have heard that I can catch flights from that base to his base. This doesn't sound quite right to me. Do I get discounted flights on base or is there an air line that offers cheap flights to military personnel & spouses?

Do airlines give military discounts? My husband is in the military and we are trying to find cheap flights to mexico. We have a flyer card with delta.... but the cheapest airport for them is jfk..... about 3 hours away.... and the parking is 200 bucks a week.... too much. finding a cheap flight / help? Hey, I am having trouble finding a cheap flight out. I'm on my leave right now and with my family in MA. Looking to go back to my duty station 6JUL. Need help with a travel decision? My daughter and I will be moving from Washington to Iowa in March. She will be a year old then. A plane ticket will cost $300 or more and can be up to a 9 hour trip. Then when I get to the Des Moines airport, my mom would have to drive an hour 1/2 to come pick me up when my plane gets there after midnight (the only time any of the cheaper flights arrive!). I will be traveling alone with my daughter. My second option would be to take Amtrak. This would be convenient because there is a train station in my hometown that I am moving back to, and the arrival times for those trips are around 7:00 in the morning, so getting a ride would not be a problem. But for that, the train from WA to CA takes 19 hrs 44 m, then there is a 5 hour layover, then from CA to IA it is a 42 hr 5m trip. BUT the ticket, with my military discount, is only $176.40. What way should I go? It is already going to cost about $1500 for movers to move our household goods.

I need to find the cheapest overseas flight.? I am living in Monterey, CA and want to fly to Bishkek, Kyrygyzstan for Christmas. I will be leaving around Dec 19 and will return around Dec 30. I'm not worried about the length of stops or what airline it is, though I would prefer British Airways. The lowest price I could find is around $1,700. Can anyone find a lower price? military spouse stationed overseas wanting to go home for the holidays? my husband is getting deployed in a month, and i want to go home for the holidays (very early nov to late dec) with our 8/9 month old son (how old he will be when traveling). I'm wanting to find the cheapest, and the most cooperative airline to help me since most layovers i'm comming across are about an hour. This will be my second time flying, our son's first. and i'm already a nervous wreck because of that and it being a good 11+ hour flight. I'm military too, and I would leave the 28th and get back the 2nd. the cheapest I've been able to come up with is from expedia which is $800 and includes a hotel, this doesn't include any military discount though.
