Where can I get the cheapest air fare to Hawaii?

Hi, I would like to go to Hawaii from August 5 or 6 to August 12 or 13. Need airfare, car and place to stay. Also do I need a passport? Thanks in advance for your help as it is appreciated.

1. I don't think you need a passport. And the cheapest airline is United or US Airways. And a hotel- Sunbeam. Also car would be ford to rent of course.
2. Are you kidding? Hawaii is a state. Just like driving from New York to New Hampshire. You don't need a passport to travel within the country, just to get into it. Your cheapest cities to fly out of will be Los Angeles (LAX), Seattle-Tacoma (SEA), or Portland which airport code I don't know off the top of my head. Where to stay depends on which island you intend to visit. All are different. If you go to the Big Island, your experience will be different from that of going to Maui, or Kauai, and so on and reverse. Find out what you're interested in doing then it will help you decide which island will be best for you to visit. Then you can decide where to stay. If you're looking to pinch pennies you can always find some place to sleep outside for free. It's a tropical archipelago.
